		<description>Yep, between the previous lower income limit, and the new cap on the price of the home it really limits the potential benefit of this tax break.   But I really believe that the extension of the conforming loan limit (and FHA) will extend whatever rally we&#039;ve seen so far into 2010.</description>

As recent buyers in San Carlos, the new $729500 conforming loan made a HUGE difference in our purchase price, but the tax credit didn&#039;t affect us at all since it didn&#039;t cover anything over $800K.  I wish Congress would have made exceptions for higher costs living areas and raised the maximum limit.</description>
